Welcome to Edynn, my lovely guests. It's not open for roleplay as of yet, but it'll definitely be open for character creation very soon. You're welcome to join and check up on the progress of the site as it won't be much longer until it's complete and ready for roleplayers, but remember this is a LITERATE site. Use your better judgement. Oh, and if you see any misspellings or bugs or inaccurate information, please let me know! This site will be full of surprises, and on full moons it seems that strange things happen... (aka random events!) Stick around to check it out!
ILY ALL,
Shyler <3

Wolves of the Woods. We are a mostly realistic wolf roleplay that takes place in a somewhat fantasy-created forest in the wild wilderness of Russia. Five packs are clustered together, as well as a neutral territory to the side. To the north is a large, snowy mountain that reeks of evil, led by the red femme fatale Mishka. To the east is a deep pitted neutral valley covered in a deep, smokey fog, where the darker-hearted neutrals roam, led by their leader Shadow. To the west is another neutrel vast of area, which somewhat resembles an oasis / desert, and though it is neutral, is a femme-only pack, and is led by the she-wolf Raven; Moreover, and finally, to the south, is the golden plains of the pure, where good hearts roam, with their queen Prophecy. Somwhere between the west and the south lies a short expansion of forest, where the good-hearted but not so pure neutral Haven Forest lay. Between the golden plains and the foggy valley is an expanse of forest where good-hearted neutrals roam. In the center of it all lays a huge lake with boulders and trees, the neutral status, a place of meeting. Surrounding it all is nothing but snowy pine trees, where it seems to be no end, and though some find their way out, some don't. Our plot? Simply to role-play. We do not have them, but we are open to suggestions, and are simply awaiting for the right one to fall into our paws. Will you join us? Or find your calling elsewhere?

Rating: G RP Level: Above Average, if that makes sense Location of Our Banner: in the scrolling marquee, below the welcome table Description/Plot:
The Cullens are still living in Forks. Since word got out about the defeat of Victoria and the newborns, vegetarian vampires from around America have been travelling to visit the Cullens. They are unhappy with the amount of power that the Volturi have, and seek a more forgiving coven to rule them. Carlisle was welcome to having these vampires as part of their extended family, and they live in and around the Cullen's territory.
Many non-vegetarian vampires have also heard of the Cullens, and wish to join them if they are to rise against the Volturi. Carlisle, however, does not wish for them to feed in Forks and has requested that they stay at least a few towns away. Many of these vampires have settled in Port Angeles, forming the Corder coven. Gradually, the Corder Coven has grown as well, originally led by Christopher Corder. The two covens mix often, but also fight often.
The Denalis are still resided in Alaska, but visit the Cullens frequently
The La Push pack have grown slightly in size, due to the large amount of vampires now living near Forks. Jacob Black has returned, and he's rejoined the Quileutes, taking his place again as Beta Wolf. If a war should start, it's clear that they would be on the side of the Cullens, and as the Corders are friends of the Cullens they try not to lose their tempers too often if they venture into Port Angeles.
Some werewolves from another location have settled in and around La Push, and have formed another pack--the Algoma Pack. Below is the pack's history.
Humans in the towns continue to live their lives, in an existence ignorant of the secret of the species'. Vampires and Werewolves are only fairytale creatures to them, though some of the humans have noticed something strange going on.
Nomadic Vampires coming into the area are rare, and eventually find themselves in the midst of the tension between the Cullens and Corders. Nomadic Werewolves have also come, settling most of the time in Seattle.
The Volturi's interest in the Cullens and Corders have grown, though as a group, the Volturi have not left the safe haven of their secret underground lair in Volterra.
Bonds have formed, but others have been broken.
Bella Swan has finally married her vampire love, Edward Cullen. (Dec 2008 event) Niamh Murphy, a vampire surviving the Germanic coven wars, is living with the Cullens. Other vampires, like Asher Hurst and his adoptive sister Amdise, have a residence nearby. Other vampires part of the extended Cullen coven have joined too.
The Corders have grown. Their leader, Christopher Corder, has had a long unexplained absence, prompting his second-in-command, Samantha James to take over. Lilliana Murray and Katherine Ryne are the other original Corders. Other members, like siblings Gabriel "Spector" and Bianca Williams and Ariana Jade Scott are the more active vampires in this coven.
You make the plots! Romance, Imprints, Murder, War, Love... This is FORBIDDEN.
The current plot is actually not up yet. Once members join they will be able to vote for their two favorite plots. The current plots in question are:
The Alliances
The Darks, Neutrals, and Lights will band together to try and win a big war.
The Elementals
The Fire, Water, Earth, and Air Elementals will band together to try and defeat the other Elements. Or... two elements can band together against the other two elements who are or who aren't banded together.
The Devastating Weather
A big, bad weather system can move in causing tornadoes, blizzards, ice storms, hurricanes, storm surges, etc. This will call for the herds banding together and this is where the plot develops from there.
The Stealing
A story goes on believing that a herd's heir or queen was stolen by another herd, but in truth they just ran away. The herd accused could be supported by other herds and the herd who believes they stole their queen/heir could be supported by other herds.
The Enchantment Battles
The Enchantment Battles are based on three categories: The Elementals, The Psychics, and The Shifters. Each equine who wants to participate can sign up to be in only one of the categories that they excel in. The winner of the Elementals, Psychics, and Shifters will face off against each other all at once and the victor will have all the glory and be considered the most powerful being. An empire could be constructed under him and then from there, the conspiracies against it will be set into affect.
**All information that goes along with each plot will be posted after one plot is chosen.
Quick Info: We are currently a PG-13+ site and accept beginner to advanced role players who can post at least 200 words per post. That is about two, good, detailed paragraphs. For those who need it, there is a section in the rules that explains that we can lower your minimum amount of words you can post if you are a beginner.

RETROSPECT
Retrospect is an intermediate and up role-playing site taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin during the Great Depression. Times are hard for almost everywhere with the economy in the state that it's in and President Herbert Hoover not helping all too much. Many people are homeless and even those that aren't don't have much money. Soup Kitchens are started to help feed those that cannot afford to buy themselves food.
Although things are not exactly as they appear. Hidden among the humans are creatures that were thought to only live within the pages of fiction. Werewolves, vampires and others of the sort. Many of the gangs that are known to cause problems are run by those creatures, making them even more violent than the people could ever have thought. Tension arises among the races as the world spirals into the depression.

[Introduction to Sidewalk]
Running, running, always running But never getting anywhere Panting, reaching, struggling, gasping Falling, always falling You'll never reach the other side You'll never make it out alive So why try?
Everyone has a past. Everyone has a history, a tale of horror, a dark secret they don't want anyone to know about. When your own life is awash with misery and sorrow, you stop wondering why the others look beaten too. You don't need their suffering added to your own. You learn to deal with the grief by yourself. You close your heart, so you cannot feel, but the world doesn't stop crying.
The nightmare is never ending It just goes on and on It waits for you, once have have awoken Waiting for you to come back to it When all that awaits you is horror, fear, death Why bother to sleep?
Yes, we all have our own story, our own unique tale of woe. But they're all the same really, in the end. A story about sadness, pain, heartbreak. No one can change the past. But you can change the future. The past says who you were. Only you can say who you will be. By the way you act today. By the way you act tomorrow, and the day after that. By the way you cope with the hand you were dealt. Those who have courage overcome the darkness and step forth into the light. And it is here, in this place of new beginnings, where such things happen. This is the place where the scars of the past are healed, the place where the frightened and abused learn to trust again. This is the place where the wild at heart at last learn to dream once more.
Here is your out Ahead of you, the end to the nightmares It's not the light at the end of the tunnel It's another, stronger light, there in the distance There, on the horizon, coming with the rising sun I know it looks far, but I'll be there with you Every step of the way Together, we can escape the torment Are you coming?

AFF and AD policies
If you affiliate or advertise on this site, it's crucial that your site meets the following criteria. If I, the admin, think that it does not seem up to these standards, I will reply to your request with my approval or decline with a reason why, and after one week it will be deleted, so check back a day or two after you make your post. So, onto the criteria.
1. Your site must look professional. As in, it must look nice. Some people have different opinions on what looks professional and what doesn't, and it varies from people who have made proboards skins to people who have never or have just started. So, if you've never made a skin or are just starting, try getting a template from SoCal or OvercomersGFX for a good skin selection. And no, I don't mean botox. Ooh, I included clickable links; you're welcome, and I know, I'm just too kind.
2. Your site must have at least 10 members. ACTIVE members. I mean it.
3. As with rule 2, your members must be active. If we find that your site is falling inactive for whatever reason, we reserve the right to take down your site's banner. Of course, you are free to do the same if we fall inactive..
4. You are free to advertise or affiliate on Edynn. However, you should probably keep in mind that if you are going to advertise, you're going to get less publicity. Not many people search through the advertising archives. However, if you are going to advertise, we have the right to advertise on your site. If there is some rule on your site prohibiting us from linking to our site after you have advertised on Edynn, your advertisement will be deleted promptly. I DO look over every AFF and AD as well as the site and its affiliation/advertisement policies as soon as I log in, so don't think you can get away with it.
5. If you want your banner to be static, then ours must be static on your forum. If you can't spare room on your forum for a static banner, then you may place us on a scrolling affiliates section, but yours will also be scrolling; NOT in a scroll box. In a MARQUEE box. As in, a box that scrolls by itself. If you have a manual scroll box, then the chances of Edynn being discovered are next to none.
6. Please put [AFF] or [AD] in your post's title so that I know whether it is an affiliation or advertisement.
7. Do NOT advertise at all in chat. You may put a link in your name, but do not draw attention to it. Advertisements are for the advertisement board; go figure.
8. Our banner must be put up on your site before we put up your banner.
9. Following rule 8, your banner must also be 88 pixels long by 31 pixels high. Any banners larger or smaller will not be accepted, as that is the only size we allow. It's to make the affiliates space look nicer and more cleaned up than if we had banners of all sizes, and its also so that everyone has an equal chance at getting their site clicked on. Who's going to click on a normal banner when there's a strange, really tiny banner there? That's going to spark interest; more than the other sites, which isn't fair.
10. We will NOT fix your banner codes. If your banner code doesn't work, I will post a notice on your affiliation request. If you do not reply in one week, your request will be deleted.
11. Please put "the killing jar" somewhere in your post so I know you at least skimmed this stuff
12. I don't care what rating your roleplay is (G, PG, PG-13, R), so long as it's literate. If I don't think it's literate or for some reason the content it just too offensive, I won't accept your request. If I don't have it on my site, then why would I show my support by advertising your site?
13. Sorry, but we only accept roleplays. No writing forums, fansites, rp listing sites or the like. Just good old fashioned roleplay.
[center]And now for the minibanners! You may pick any one you like, so long as it stands out against your site's skin. If your roleplay's skin is dark and you pick a dark banner, you will be asked to select another. Just use common sense. Which means about 50% of people out there will be like "whowherewut?" xD
You are also required to post with the following form.
